Welcome in the team!    In May 2025, Sara Weber joined the lab, and Laura Rosenbusch returned after accomplishing her clinical training. Sara and Laura will now start their PhDs on social learning in adolescence.

Spectacular news!  Jonathan Czollek, PhD student from our lab, receives a three-year PhD stipend from the Ernst Ludwig Ehrlich Studienwerk (ELES)! The focus of the PhD will be on the intersection of discrimination and psychotherapy.

Successful Bachelor thesis by Georg, student assistant in our lab!  Topic of his thesis: “Who is responsible? Attributional behaviour in the context of self-related feedback and de­pression”. 

Our long-year student assistant, Sarah Pieper, successfully finished and defended her MA thesis on “The masters and mistresses of the elements – How compulsive-obsessive patients can experience control”. We now start a series on best cakes and brownies after defenses…

Our student assistant, Merle Matthiesen, successfully finished and defended her BA thesis on “The effects of feedback on self- and other-related learning processes as a function of narcissistic personality traits” – and baked these nice brownies for the team. 

Self-belief formation and subjective well-being: Predicting and improving depressive symptoms   Dr. Laura Müller-Pinzler was granted a DFG Einzelantrag for her own position and a 50% position for Nora Czekalla to investigate processes of belief formation and their link to subjective well-being.  Due to Laura’s maternal leave, the project start is postponed to April 2025.
